April

April showers bring May flowers

My old German mother-in-law used to say that while she chomped at the bit to get into her flower beds.  She often had them dug up long before May, Standing in the rain, digging what was soft dirt but became hard claim in May.   But her gardens were beautiful, unlike mine which never seemed to blossom.

I think the difference was hard work.  Hard work in anything is always a way to a good end result.  But sometimes the weeds get in the way and I found if you left them too long they were hard to pull out and ruined your Garden.  Now I have a balcony... no weeds... no garden!
